When people ask about my writing process, how I plan out my stories; I have to laugh. I may have a vision for a scene when I start, then the characters take me in another direction. They can be quite demanding sometimes, but they are always entertaining.

I live in a small town in Michigan with my husband, a rather grumpy Shih Tsu and a fluffy rescue cat that insists my office window be open, even in winter. Now that our four children are grown, it seemed like a perfect time to do something with the stories that have been rolling around in my brain for years.
Having spent thirty years working in the medical field, it is a joy to stretch the wings of my imagination and feed my romantic soul. Bringing these characters to life and having people respond to them has brought a new facet to my life that I hope will continue for years to come.
